Resources and Publications

We are pleased to announce the publication of the second research note summarizing the literature on information practices, titled “Le rapport à l’information dans la littérature scientifique : 2. Les moyens de s’informer et les sources d’informations”. It is the second in a series of four document reviews. It deals with the topic of information resources and sources in the digital age and discusses access to technology and the skills needed to use it. It also examines the unprecedented expansion of information and changes in access to content. The note ends with an analysis of the discussion of content reliability, often approached from the perspective of misinformation. We hope you find it a useful and enjoyable read and look forward to discussing this fascinating topic with you!

Below is a review of the literature on political participation and the digital world, designed to guide us in setting up the methodological specifications for our survey on Quebecers’ information practices. We hope it will be useful to researchers, graduate students working on the topic, and teachers addressing these issues in the classroom.
